Glasshouse TLV is an artistic home-laboratory of artists Lital Dotan & Eyal Perry. It's aim is to promote artistic experiments that are based on performance and installation art in the domestic space. The space is constantly transforming from a home into a stage, a playground, a classroom and so on, making the domestic environment a platform of constant physical and mental exploration.
The place hosts performance evenings and an international residency program, where artists from around the world are invited to create performance art projects.
Public is invited to visit.

How it all started:
The Glasshouse started in September 2007 as a platform for web performances broadcast every Tuesday eve on Dotan & Perry’s website.
During almost a year, a weekly video performance was held in one of four spaces in their home, and broadcast only on the internet, making the metaphorical walls of the home become transparent and fragile like glass. The project had over 40 video performances and came to conclusion with an exhibition at the MOBY museum in Israel.
When the 2nd year of activity started, the Glasshouse project evolved into a physical space: The artists’ home was opened to the public with changing exhibitions and live performance evenings. During this year the Glasshouse drew many hundreds of visitors, and hosted individuals and groups for a guided tour and dialogue.
The increasing public interest in the project grew even bigger when the media started to be interested in the place, and the artists were asked to move out. Their new location (43 steps distance from the first Glasshouse) allowed them to expand the Glasshouse experimental activity and it's audience, and start a residency program.
