Variable projection size, with sound The video work ‘Embracement’ was filmed with the bandaged wall from the exhibition ‘Garden of Floating Events’ at the background. Lital, seated on a pedestal with a wreath of thorns in her lap, is holding a bandage-ball. Slowly, as if she were a participant in a common ritual, she is wrapping the bandages around her body, tightening the wreath of thorns to her body.
The work is filmed in two points of view: one presents a headless body, and the other, filmed from a lower point of view, presents a close up on the suffering face.
