‘Lullaby’ deals with the ‘float’ as a kind of alternative existence- fluidic and fluttering, through which the heaviness of a solid existence reverberates. In this series of video installations, through using lullabies, we confront the most basic, common denominator of mother’s love and compassion, with our chaotic reality.
The project is made of lullabies in languages that are part of the Israeli social structure. The series is made of 7 lullabies (3 are presented here). Each piece is influenced by local events- personal and collective.
